Taya Llapitan
Taya is a senior and this is her first year in journalism. In her free time, she swims, works at Simmer Vietnamese Kitchen, walks her dog, makes food, hangs out with friends, and goes to concerts. After graduation, she will attend the University of Oregon to study sports journalism in order to pursue a career in sports advertising, possibly for Nike or ESPN. She enjoys journalism for the practice in creative writing and the ability to get in touch with the school and current events.
